Folio 135: Forbes and Rondeau to Harrington. Two points still outstanding on treaty of commerce which is about to be concluded. 1. goods may be sent to England from China, and vast countries between Siberia, the frontiers of Persia and the Caspian Sea. 2. Russian merchants in England may send produce of Russia to England in English ships. The first may alarm the East India Company, the other the Russia Company. King Augustus has satisfied Russia about his journey and will be in Danzig as soon as his pockets are filled again. Count Munnich's `military eloquence' has prevailed on king of Prussia to let the Cannon pass.
