Folio 122: Forbes to Harrington. Czarina entirely satisfied with Rondeau's conduct and hoped HM would promote him and let him remain in her presence. Rondeau also agreeable to Count Biron; not so entirely to Count Osterman who would prefer a new man here. Biron plainly dissembles; Osterman has advantage over him in experience, making Biron temporize until Count Lowenwolde returns from Vienna to advise, when alterations may occur with relation to Osterman. Dated St Petersburg 2 Apr 1734.
