Folio 108: Forbes and Rondeau to Harrington. Russian pretentions of trading to America dropped. English subjects to be attracted freely to Russia. Drawback on sailcloth and cordage insisted on. Russia desires to send consuls to England with use of Greek church. Report that Diet called for 14 May. Russia alarmed and asks HM to prevent Swedes from deciding anything in favour of France. Ideas of defensive war with Turks set aside. Dated St Petersburg 23 Mar 1734.
