Description

Folio 76: Harrington to Forbes and Rondeau. Lords Commissioners of Trade's comparisons of projects and replies concerning treaty of commerce enclosed. If Russia refuses to agree, she can only be trying to draw HM into further measures. It will therefore be mostuseful to us to turn towards the West Indies to furnish what is needed from Russia. Fresh news of French fleet at Brest, preparing for the Baltic. Dated Whitehall, 29 Mar 1733/4.
