Folio 26: Forbes and Rondeau to Harrington. Account of proposed advance of general Lacy from Thron to Danzig, with artillery and 24,000 Russians, marching both sides of Vistula. Stanislaus not likely to await arrival of this army. Palatine of Kiev, Potocki, avoiding being surrounded and keeping retreat open, annoying Russians and obliging them to dispense their troops in Poland and on the frontiers. The elector of Saxony crowned at Cracow. Account expected here soon. Count Golovkin died 20 Jan., aged 74. Dated St Petersburg 26 Jan 1733/4.
