Folio 12: Forbes and Rondeau to Harrington. Count Jaguzinski given explicit orders to speak same language at Berlin as Czarina instructed Mardefeld. Anything further effected in this matter will be done by Count Lowenwolde at Vienna. Nothing achieved concerning our treaty of commerce. Count Osterman is only person appointed to do business with us and is delaying as long as he pleases, perhaps because it may interfere with interests of Prussia. Lately Osterman has informed us that Russian demands would not be insisted on and maybe duties on our woollen goods would be lessened if we would specify those on which we were over-charged. Dated St Petersburg 12 Jan 1733/4.
