Folio 89: Rondeau to Harrington. Osterman told by Mr Magnan that his master King Louis has been reliably informed that Emperor was forming army in Silesia to overthrow the Polish government. As King Louis was guarantee of Treaty of Oliva he declared he would allow none to change the form of that government. It appears that Mr Magnan has changed his declarations according to whom he has spoken. Mr Hochholzer says the King of Prussia tried to prevent the Elector of Saxony succeeding his father during his lifetime but since the death of the King of Poland this court is inclined to assist him. Dated St Petersburg, 14 Apr 1733.
