Folio 81: Harrington to Rondeau. Letter regarding trade treaty with HM's instructions. Issue of Von Brackel's negotiations at Copenhagen is that on 26 May a treaty of friendship was concluded between the Emperor Czarina and king of Denmark. Included are stipulations for procuring absolute cession and renunciation of the duke of Holstein and family to duchy of Sleswig in lieu of equivalent furnished by Danish king. Your opinion is to be that HM will certainly decline to charge himself with any new guarantees. Dated Whitehall, 29 May 1732.
