Folio 83: Rondeau to Townshend. Manifest published of accusations against Dolgorukov family. Translation enclosed. Czarina shows vigour and courage without which her power would be greatly limited. During meeting with Osterman he eventually spoke of coldness between our court and this. I was assured that they only wish good relations with us and to forget the past. Hope my visit to him will turn to our advantage. Osterman appears to favour Czarina's departure for stay in St. Petesburg after her coronation. Dated Moscow, 20 Apr 1730.
