Folio 55: Rondeau to Townshend. With much difficulty have enclosed translation of a project of trade presented by duke of Liria to this court on 31 May. If Spaniards able to settle this project it will be damaging to British subjects trading to this country. Princess Natalia will be interred at Moscow, making it obvious Czar not returning here. Prince Maurice of Saxony expected here soon, to marry Princess Elizabeth. Ward intends to go to Moscow this winter to help our trade. He hopes his added expenses will be taken into consideration. Please let me know what to do in Moscow to be of most use while there. Dated St Petersburg, 31 Dec 1728.
