Folio 224: Jefferyes to Craggs. The various reports of progress made against Sweden and advantages obtained by the Russians, as both town and country would ring with it if they were true. Advice from St.Petersburg that the duke of Moscow is deprived of all his German attendants and Russians are substituted as a precaution in case the Czarina fails to produce a male heir, he being the nearest successor. Dated Revel, 30 July 1719.
