Folio 18: Jefferyes to Tilson. Fearful of fate having missed Sir John. Negotiations at Aland are as great a riddle here as in England. Swedish enterprise in Norway has much alarmed Denmark, whose troops in Norway are not sufficient to resist so great a force. Theywill want money to send reinforcements there. Hope Sir John Norris will be sent to St Petersburg. Dated Copenhagen, 11 Nov 1718.
