Folios 2-5: Accumulative Newsletter. More than 30 boats filled with provisions must leave Kronslot for Abo, in convoy with a frigate. Admiral Count Apraxin has received orders from the Czar to stay near the fleet this summer at Revel and not to go to the army in Finland, from which one can infer that the Czar will not act now against the Swedes. Two Russian warships of 54 guns are so damaged as to be out of service this year. A warship has left for Revel commanded by an English captain called Deane. He was handed the Czar's sealed dispatches which he took with great loftiness as became an Admiral-General. We know not what course he took. From the Dutch Consul. Wortley the Ambassador from Great Britain left Vienna January 22 and arrived at Adrianople on March 24. Prussian king leaves for France but he will not be incognito. Dated St Petersburg, 17 May 1715/16; Alep 15 Apr 1715/16; Berlin 8 June 1715/16. French.
