Rumours about fate of party of five British merchants travelling from Russia to Germany. Movements of Russian troops. Rumours that King Charles [of Sweden] is negotiating with Turkey. Movements of Czar, details of weather and ship-building. Swedes possibly trying to negotiate exchange of prisoners. Requests duplicates of all letters and orders. Dated Moscow, 26 Mar/6 Apr 1709.
