Letters patent of James Goldwell, commissary-general of consistory court of Canterbury, that examination of register indicates that a suit long pending between John Gaywode, vicar of Reculver, Kent, and John Slaynard, vicar of St. Nicholas in Thanet, Kent, on pension owed to Reculver; and that proceedings, recently revived, suspended due to allegation by Slaynard that case being determined in Chancery by Chancellor and Master of Rolls.
