Yorktown. Cornwallis to Lt. Col. de Fuchs. Orders the commander at Gloucester to bring the Régiment du Prince Héréditaire over as quickly as possible, upon the signal of lowering the colors on the flagstaff three times; fifty men to be left at Gloucester; the field pieces are to follow the troops as fast as possible; these orders shall not interfere with routine duties at Gloucester, foraging or other parties, which may be ordered to follow on their return; suggests Simcoe may lay in some new corn if no old corn can be had, though it should not be used in preference to barley.
