Description

Friday's Ferry, Congaree River. Lt. Col. Innes to Cornwallis. Situation on supplies; most horses sent to Virginia; great misery of the inhabitants; assurances of loyalty; turmoil caused by 'a knot of violent rascals from Virginia,' in particular Cols. Thompson, Godwin, and Beard; lack of militia.
