Manuscript prize appeal No 38, from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Jamaica, filed in 1808.
Captured ship: Atalanta (master Kneale).
Nationality: British or American.
History: taken before November 1807 by HMS Bacchante (Samuel Hood Inglefield esq commanding), and brought into Jamaica.
Appellant: Henry Walker and John A Smith supercargo for the cargo on behalf of John Theodore Kostler merchant of Liverpool; and for a propotion of the ship belonging to said John Theodore Kostler.
Respondent: the captor.
Manuscript appeal papers, never printed.
