Manuscript prize appeal No 36, from the High Court of Admiralty, filed in 1807.
Captured ship: Angelica (master Geert Jansen).
Nationality: Russian.
History: laden with wine, cork and brandy; taken before July 1806 by the privateer Happy Return (Nicholas Frewin commanding), and brought into Falmouth.
Appellant: the master for the ship and sundry cargo on behalf of Messrs Helmand and Son of Riga, Russian subjects.
Respondent: the captor.
Manuscript appeal papers, never printed.
