Manuscript prize appeal No 571, from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Jamaica, filed in 1801.
Captured ship: Glucklicke Peter (master Schwen Matthiesen).
Nationality: Hamburg.
History: bound from La Guaira to Hamburg, laden with cocoa and indigo; taken on 18 December 1799 by HMS Diligence brig (Robert Mends commanding), and brought into Jamaica.
