Manuscript prize appeal No 53, from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Antigua, filed in 1799.
Captured ship: Active (master Henry Hassell).
Nationality: Swedish.
History: bound from Guadeloupe to St Bartholomew, laden with coffee etc; taken on 27 April 1798 by the privateer Teazer (Charles O'Brien commanding), and brought into Antigua.
