Captured ship: Antelope (master William Malcolm).
Nationality: American.
History: bound from Baltimore to St Thomas, laden with flour, soap and candles; taken on 21 October 1798 by HMS Acasta (Richard Lane commanding), and brought into Jamaica.
Appellant: John NcCall merchant of Kingston, Jamaica for the ship and cargo as American property.
Respondent: the captor.
Manuscript appeal papers; and petition for desertion and sentence (manuscript, never printed).
