Manuscript prize appeal No 50, from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Tortola, filed in 1798.
Captured ship: Argus (master Svend C Mullerup).
Nationality: Danish.
History: bound from Tarragona to Charleston, USA, laden with brandy and cork; taken on 19 March 1798 by the privateer Eclipse (Edward Coakley commanding), and brought into Tortola.
