Folio 27: Tsar Mikhail to Charles I. Replies to the King's plea on behalf of Charles de Tallerand, marquis d'Exideuil, detained in Russia. As envoy of Bethlan Gabor d'Exideuil had intended, after Gabor's death, to go to Spain in order to embarrass relations between Spain and the Turks. He was therefore placed under house arrest in Russia and cannot be released without consent of the Sultan.
