Folio 24: Tsar Mikhail to Charles I. Arrival of Alexander Stewart. The King's renewed request for licenses to buy corn in Russia. Regrets that a bad harvest prevents the granting of the request in full, but Thomas Wych has been allowed to buy a limited quantity. Discrepancies in Russian measures of weight. Resulting deficiencies have been made good from the Tsar's own corn stock at Archangel at cost price and duty free. Is unable to accept Stewart's services in any military or civil capacity.
