Folio 14: Whitworth to Stanhope. Marked secret. Ilgen's request that Whitworth should not be offended by the King of Prussia postponing his audience. Whitworth's suspicions that the court is alarmed by his arrival. Significance of the situation in Aland and the project of Count Marck in Sweden to make particular peace with Prussia. Communication between the King of Prussia and Whitworth, and the Regent, to elicit action concerning this. Whitworth's certainty of the involvement of the Abbé de Bois [Dubois]. Whitworth's relationship with Rothembourg. Rothembourg has orders to sign the act of guarantee jointly with Whitworth. Whitworth requests instructions how he should act regarding the signing.
