Folio 45: Raby to Hedges. Considerations motivating Prussia's concern to maintain the Diet at Ratisbon: catholicism, protestantism, the elector of Bavaria and the Emperor. Frederick I will consider moving the Diet only to a free town in Germany. Suspicious meetingbetween French and imperial ministers in Switzerland. Electress of Hanover has told him of a proposed treaty and a meeting of all the Brunswick and Lüneburg princes at Borksdorf [Burgdorf]. Antonius Ulrich has rejected Duke Rodolph's peace overtures and expects to make an alliance with Denmark and Prussia; Rodolph has complained about this to Emperor, but has received little sympathy; Emperor will probably be glad to see the protestant princes at odds once he has secured his own aims. Criticism of publicity about Savoy treaty. Articles of Prussian-Danish treaty remain secret. Court news. From Berlin
