Folio 23: Raby to [Nottingham]. Has sent Hedges the promised papers [about the Prussia-Lüneburg feud] (f.31). Conference with Ilgen and the Grand Chamberlain: question of the Old Mark of Brandenburg and the duke of Celle's territories. Believes the differences could be settled provided Lüneburg troops evacuate Hildesheim: Prussia willing to submit Nordhausen claim to Queen Anne's judgement if this evacuation takes place first. Prussia would then seek to reconcile Antonius Ulrich to Hanover. Meanwhile Frederick I is happy to see split in the Lüneburg alliance. Preparations for Frederick's birthday. Date of Raby's public audience fixed. From Berlin
