Description

The miscellaneous rolls in this series include a writ roll recording the issue and return of writs for Queen Philippa of Hainault, and another recording writs for queen's gold in the reign of Edward IV.

There are also rolls of bille intrande, covering the years 1481-1509 and 1547-1558, which include memoranda of matters to be entered on the plea rolls (E 13), for which they can be used as repertories. Records of the Clerk of the Errors, who dealt with the transcripts of records in suits in error originating in the Exchequer, are from 1827 and 1828.

The miscellaneous papers still in the series include papers of attorneys and side clerks as well as sittings papers.
