Besides the writs of error and the transcripts of pleadings, the series also includes many Bills of Exceptions, which provide more information on the trial and the evidence given than do the Plea Rolls.
There is also one bundle of certificates and transcripts of judgements in the Courts of Great Session in Wales and Chester in suits transferred (without any error alleged) to the Exchequer of Pleas on the abolition of the courts in 1830.
