Investment policy was controlled by the General Nursing Council and its Finance Committee. From 1963 an Investment Sub-committee met, which reported to the Finance Committee.
The investments remaining at the dissolution of the General Nursing Council were transferred to the General Nursing Council for England and Wales Trust on 30 June 1983.
