The Joint Airmiss Section receives all reports of UK air misses and analyses and records them. It is also responsible for the supervision and co-ordination of investigations, the preparation of reports, and the recording and reporting of follow-up action. It provides the chairman and secretariat of the Joint Airmiss Working Group.
