Following the development of OSP 26: The regulation of civil aviation 1972-2002, it has been decided that no further accessions into this series will be made.

Administrative / biographical background

Type records are used by the Civil Aviation Authority's design surveyors in evaluating the design, including associated testing and development of the helicopter, to ensure that they conform to the standards specified in British Civil Airworthiness Requirements (Section G).

Type records are produced by manufacturers of helicopters and deposited formally with the Civil Aviation Authority.
