From 1983 Civil Aviation Authority
The Private Aviation Committee was formed in 1972 to inform the Civil Aviation Authority of the progress and requirements of private and club flying, gliding and ballooning in the United Kingdom and to consider how the Civil Aviation Authority may help to meet these requirements.
The committee consists of representatives from the Civil Aviation Authority and from private aviation associations.
