Reinforcements to be sent to North Africa, to take part in increased convoy escort and to support operations against British advance into Libya (ASI 7182, 7273,7320,7342). On 21 November fuel stocks were reported adequate only to support 4 days' operatioons by 5th Air Corps, Libya: Rome asked to consider bringing in stocks by air or submarine (ASI 7274). Italian Air Attach‚ in Tokyo reports Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour (ASI 7760). Air Intelligence, Rome, asks for information on Japanese methods for attacking American and British naval units in the Pacific (ASI 7764)
