Description

Short Title: Wayland v Matthews.

Plaintiff(s): (i) Charles Isaac Wayland and his wife Louisa, and Edwin Poyntz Wayland, Frederick Tully Wayland, Alfred Wesley Wayland (Infants) by said Charles Isaac Wayland their father and next friend and others; (ii) Charles Isaac Wayland and others.

Defendant(s): (i) Sarah Matthews, William Humfrys; (ii) Sarah Matthews and others.

Depositions for: [unspecified].

Subject of Depositions: The last will and testament and the value etc and disposition of the real estate, and of the personal estate and effects (not specifically bequeathed by his will) of Mark Poynts Matthews, the testator; said estate including a freehold dwelling house and garden etc in St Owen Street, Hereford, a freehold messuage etc in or near Bye Street, Hereford, four freehold cottages without Bye Street Gate, Hereford, and a piece of freehold land in the same locailty, a freehold cottage or dwelling house and garden at Sedgmoor Common in the parish of Kings Pyon, Herefordshire, five freehold cottages in the parish of St Owen, Hereford, freehold houses numbers 9 and 12 Thrissell Street, Bristol, with gardens adjoinign in the out parish of Saint Paul, Gloucestershire, a freehold house No 1 Sussex Place, Bristol, with garden in the said parish, occupied by Mr Ravenhill, also No 2, etc.
