Subject of Depositions: A Surrender (dated 2 April 1832) of hereditaments and premises held of the manor of Ecclesfield made by defendant William Foster, his late son William Foster, and William Smith, into the hands of the Lord of said Manor, to the use of the plaintiff, her heirs and assigned for the purpose of securing the repayment of the sum of £400. Proposed sale to plaintiff by defendant of the equity of redemption not proceeded in inconsequence of the defendants having only a life interest in the premises.
