Description

Short Title: Davys v Boucher.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Davys.

Defendant(s): Charles Boucher and his wife Mary, Robert Williams, Robert Williams the younger.

Depositions for: Defendants.

Subject of Depositions: The last will and testament of Thomas Davys of Raddington (Somerset), plaintiff's late father, and a settlement made upon the marriage of his daughter Mary with Charles Boucher (one of the defendants) and his wishes and intentions regarding provision being made for his son (the plaintiff); William Boucher of Langley in the parish of Wiveliscombe, gent (father of the defendant Charles Boucher), one of the deponents, his estate at Upton called "Lyddons Ground", lately purchase by him of Sir John Trevelyan; Mary Greeland of West Buckland, widow (cousin of tesator), one of the deponents; a survey and valuation of the testator's estates in Raddington called Haydon Farm, Wathers Farm, Waterhouse Farm, and Pixhill Overland, and his estate in Bampton, Devon, called Petton and Petton Ball, and Betsy Davys, younger daughter of the testator, deceased, late wife of the defendant Robert Williams, are mentioned.
