Description

Short Title: Brokenbrow v Cracknell.

Plaintiff(s): William Brokenbrow.

Defendant(s): Elizabeth Cracknell, widow, William Phillips Cracknell (an infant) and John Taylor.

Depositions for: Plaintiff.

Subject of Depositions: A search made in the Registry Office of the Diocese of Bath and Wells for the last will and testament of Benjamin Cracknell DD [Doctor of Divinity] (husband and father of defendants) late of the parish of Lyncombe and Widcombe who died in the said parish on 12 June 1831, and the grant of administratrix of his goods etc made out of said Office to the defendant Elizabeth on 13 July 1831, etc; the names of Benjamin Cracknell, Elizabeth Martha Cracknell, William Phillips Cracknell, John Cracknell and Julia Cracknell, children of said Benjamin Cracknell DD and the defendant Elizabeth (formerly Elizabeth Phillips, spinster) are mentioned.
