Description

Short Title: Essington v Viveash.

Plaintiff(s): Sarah Essington, widow, Catherine Mary Essington and Emma Sarah Essington (infants) by Sarah Essington their mother and next friend.

Defendant(s): Samuel Viveash, John Wayte, Robert William Essington (an infant) by John Wayte his guardian, William Essington, William Essington the younger, and Robert Essington (an infant) by the said William Essington his guardian.

Depositions for: Plaintiffs.

Subject of Depositions: The value etc and a disposition of the personal estate and effects (non-specifically bequethed by his will) of Robert Essington the testator, one of the messengers of HM's Court of Exchequer; said estate including canal shares and monies in the public funds, namely fourteen shares in the Kennett and Avon Canal Company, 400 three per cent consols, £300 new four per cents, two shares in the Somerset Lock Fund Coal Canal, £400 three per cent consols, £1600 three and a half per cent consols, a farm and cottage etc at Compton Bassett [Wiltshire] and sheeplands, etc.

County: Norfolk.
