Description

Short Title: Trafford v Crosbie.

Plaintiff(s): Henry Trafford, esq.

Defendant(s): John Crosbie, Samuel Wright, Edward Chaffers, Mary Pownall, widow, and Trafford Leigh the younger, by John Leigh the elder, his guardian.

Depositions for: Plaintiff.

Subject of Depositions: The value and disposition of the estate and effects of William Trafford, the testator, late partner in the trading firm of Crosbies and Trafford, also in a ropery under the firm of Crosbies, Siddal, and Company, also in a trade to Virginia under the firm of Thomas Park and Co, and in a brewery under the firm of Allen Pearson and Co, also in a small plantation in one of the Granadilla Islands for the growth of cotton under the term of Crosbie's Trafford and Chaffers, also in an insurance office under the firm of George Bowden and Company, and in a trade to Newfoundland under the firm of Elmes Bowden and Co; the estate of the testator includes the fee simple and inheritance of a messuage in King Street and Traffords Lane in the town of Liverpool, Lancashire, five shares in an undertaking or adventure called the Sankey Navigation.
