Description

Short Title: Short v Jones.

Plaintiff(s): John Short, Samuel Short, Augustin Question Short.

Defendant(s): Silvanus Jones and his wife Elizabeth, Samuel Kingdom, Robert Quiricke Short, Charles Thomas Short, Elizabeth Short, Thomas Short, Sarah Blagdon Short.

Depositions for: Defendants.

Subject of Depositions: The value etc and disposition of the personal estate and effects of Alice Siderfin which came to the hands of her executor John Short, surgeon (late husband of the defendant Elizabeth) and the value and disposition of the personal estate of the said John Short; said estates including lands etc in the parishes of Oare, Minehead, Selworthy, Dunster, Carhampton, Withycombe and St Dorumans (Decombs or Decumans ?) [Watchet], Crowcombe, and Stogumber [all Somerset], etc); the names and possessions of Robert Siderfin and Walter Siderfin, are mentioned.
