Description

Short Title: (i) Hyams v Solomons; (ii) Davids v Solomons.

Plaintiff(s): (i) Abigail Hyams, widow (now deceased); (ii) Ephraim Davids.

Defendant(s): Joseph Salomons [Solomons] and the Governor and Company of the Bank of England.

Depositions for: Plaintiff.

Subject of Depositions: The sum of £480 sterling invested by defendant Solomons [Salomons] for plaintiff Abigail in the purchase of £800 three per cent consolidated bank annuity stock; touching the alleged refusal of the defendant Salomons to transfer said stock to the plaintiff unless he was paid the sum of sixteen pounds [two cases].

County: London; Cambridgeshire.
