Description

Short Title: Bowyer v Blackwell.

Plaintiff(s): Samuel Bowyer, gent, on behalf of himself and others, the creditors of Samuel Blackwell esq.

Defendant(s): Anne Blackwell, widow, Humphrey Mackworth Praed esq, Jonathan Blackwell esq, James Blackwell, Anne Blackwell, spinster, Elizabeth Blackwell, Edward Lord Elliott, Jane Elizabeth Blackwell, Frances Mary Blackwell, James Lord Shirborne [James Naper Dutton, 1st Baron Sherborne], William Napier esq, Sir Francis Bassett, bart, William Praed esq, "and others".

Depositions for: Plaintiffs.

Subject of Depositions: The value etc and disposition of the estate of the testator Samuel Blackwell esq; said estate including a "small estate held under a lease from the Bishop of Gloucester"; messuages etc situated in the parish of Coln St Aldwins [Coln St Aldwyns, Cirencester] (Gloucestershire) held of by lease from the Dean and Chapter of the Cathedral Church of the Holy and Indivisible Trinity in Gloucester [Gloucester Cathedral]; also goods etc in the testator's house in Welbeck Street, London, and at his mansion house in Gloucestershire, and testator's claim upon the estate of Samuel Peach, a bankrupt, etc.
