Description

Short Title: Short v Jones.

Plaintiff(s): John Short, Samuel Short, Augustin Question Short.

Defendant(s): Sylvanus Jones and his wife Elizabeth (formerly widow of Jonathan Short), and Samuel Kingdom (executrix and executor of the will of Jonathan Short), and others.

Depositions for: [unspecified].

Subject of Depositions: The value etc and disposition of the personal estate and effects of Alice Siderfin which came to the hands of her executor John Short (late husband of the defendant Elizabeth) and the value etc of the personal estate etc of said testator John Short; Short's estate including a tenement called "Gillitts" situated in the parish of Dunster (Somerset), a chief rent issuing out of the manor of Oare (Somerset), a reserved rent issuing out of a messuage called "Withycombe" in the parish of Oare (Somerset), etc.

County: Devon; Somerset.
