Description

Short Title: Gartside v Gartside.

Plaintiff(s): Thomas Gartside esq.

Defendant(s): John Gartside esq, Joseph Tipping, Charles Ford.

Depositions for: Defendants.

Subject of Depositions: Right and title to, and sale of, an estate in Appleton and Latchford [both Cheshire] including messuages etc called "Lowes Tenement", "Cross House" at Appleton Cross [Cheshire], "Duttons", "Lane House" etc, lately in the possession of Robert Gartside of Manchester (Lancashire), merchant (father of plaintiff and defendant) and formerly belonging to Thomas Moss; touching the last wills and testaments and codicil of said Robert Gartside, and of Jane Gartside (mother of plaintiff and defendant) etc; the names of Robert Waddell esq, Sir Peter Warburton, bart, William Child, Major Child, William Dowson esq, Arthur Kent, gent, and George Heron, clerk, are mentioned.
