D of S WO to EWT June 19 re non-use of printer links between BP and Forest Moor, queries whether links were still required; DD 1 to EWT June 29 on post-Armistice German Naval; DD 1 to C June 30 re translation of captured German document, Lt Cdr Manson, US Navy, detached to BP, has sent note to Capt Wenger, Head of OP-20-G, that C had been informed of the matter and would assist through appropriate channels, document to go on to ONI; Lt Col Thompson to EWT via DD (MW) June 21 re processing of Bulgarian, Romanian and Albanian cyphers, minute from Thompson's Balkan Section June 29 re Albanian Military comms taken in Italy; F Higham of IE to DD 1 June 21 covering pre-history of IE, with attached papers going back to early 1941, including some M/S notes by DD 1 on the rationale behind forming a bigger and better D&R, (ultimately IE), and highlighting the major faults at BP during the early years of the war, papers include a note from HNS, Frank Birch, to Nigel de Grey, then AD (S), dated Apr 4 1941, covering various papers on the running and organisation of NS, additional M/S drafts by de Grey on the running and organisation of IE and on its constitution, M/S notes by anon on duties of officers working in IE;
