Description

Short Title: Davies v Duppa.

Plaintiff(s): George Davies [Davis], clerk, and the Dean and Chapter of the Cathedral Church of Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary of Rochester [Rochester Cathedral].

Defendant(s): Richard Duppa, clerk, Baldwin Duppa Hancorn.

Depositions for: [unspecified].

Subject of Depositions: A lease dated 1 Dec 1759, of portions of tithes called "Tudor's Portion" and "Malmains Portion" situate in the parish of Stoke [Stoke in Hoo] granted by the Dean and Chapter of Rochester to Baldwin Duppa esq, and touching the defendants' lands within the manor of Malmains; metes and bounds; tithes; survey.
