Description

Short Title: Rich v Awdrey.

Plaintiff(s): John Rich, Elizabeth Rich, and Mary Rich (infants) by Stiles Rich, their next friend.

Defendant(s): John Awdrey esq, William Slade, John Lewis the younger, Anne Lewis, George Lewis the elder, Thomas Burbage, Phillip Smith, gent, Elizabeth Susannah Holloway.

Depositions for: Defendants.

Subject of Depositions: The last will and testament of Stephen Gaisford of Bulkington in the parish of Keevil, gent (a copy of which is subjoined dated 16 Nov 1763) in which the following names of persons and of places in which the testators lands etc are situate, are mentioned, namely Catherine Gaisford (testator's wife), Phillip Smith of Pottern [Potterne], gent, messuages etc situate at Bulkington, Roger Gaisford (testator's father), John Tuck, Mary Tuck (now Mary Edgell), Anne Tuck (now Anne Brumsdon), John Tuck, Robert Tuck, Jane Tuck, Joan White, John Awdrey of Melksham esq, the testator's sisters Mary and Elizabeth, etc.
