Description

Short Title: Dewberry v Southey.

Plaintiff(s): Mary Anne Dewberry, spinster.

Defendant(s): Penelope Southey, spinster.

Depositions for: Plaintiff.

Subject of Depositions: The last will and testament of William Ceely alias Southey, late of Creech St Michael (Somerset), gent (a copy of which is subjoined dated 4 Sept 1775) in which the following names of persons, and of places in which the testator's lands etc are situated, are mentioned, namely Mary Anne Dewberry of Southampton [Hampshire], spinster, a messuage or tenement called Charlton in the parish of Creech [Creech St Michael] (Somerset), the testator's cousins Mary Elizabeth and Jane Muttlebury of Creech [Creech St Michael, Somerset], spinsters, James Muttlebury of Brighthelmston [Brighthelmstone] (Sussex) esq, and his wife Frances, John Arundel esq of Creech [Creech St Michael, Somerset], the Revd John Skerrett, Elizabeth Southey (testator's mother), etc.

County: Somerset; Southampton [Hampshire]; Sussex.
